BARITONE UKULELE SCALES

This book offers scale patterns and modes for the baritone ukulele.

 

Each scale is shown in multiple fingerings with its root on the fourth, third, or second string. Examples include Major, Minor, Harmonic Minor, and Pentatonic scales, plus Dorian, Phrygian, and Mixolydian modes. Each model scale is shown in standard notation, tablature, and various fretboard diagrams. In the diagrams, all the scales are shown in the first position, that is, with the first finger aligned with the first fret. The author relies on the reader to correlate the diamond shapes with the appropriate tonic note, regardless of the scale being played.
