Barker College

Barker is an Anglican day and boarding school situated in Sydney, Australia.
Established in 1890, Barker caters for boys in Kindergarten to Year 12 and becomes co-educational from Year 10. The School currently has just over 2000 students in Kindergarten to Year 12.


Technology at Barker is about making connections. Connections between computers and peripheral devices and, most importantly, connections between people. The ability to connect with other people and to build knowledge through collaboration has always been an essential skill.

With an approach to teaching and learning that values inquiry and encourages self-directed learning, technology at Barker provides opportunities for learners to connect, collaborate and create.


In 2015, Barker College Junior School was recognised as an Apple Distinguished School.
