Bouquet to the Bachelors
For a first effort BB & Sam provides a lot of entertainment and educational value. The high quality original pictures that accompany the text are the best visual attraction of this interactive ebook. The story is compelling and the characters believable. The moments of humour interjected from time to time add a sense of fun and warmth.
The interactive aspects of the book are limited but nonetheless worthwhile. I found myself looking for nonexistent Easter eggs hidden amongst the well rendered computer generated graphics.
The best thing about BB & Sam is its non-patronizing portrayal of life in a foreign country (Thailand) and it's respectful look at its culture and religion. The Bachelors have found an winning formula. We can, hopefully look forward to a continuing series of familial adventures from all the continents of our diverse planet.
