Publisher Description
Getting dumped sucks. Getting dumped by your boyfriend days before your best friend's wedding? It doesn't get much worse.
Did I mention that the guy who cut me loose was country music's number one rising star?
And my client.
I thought I was walking into a proposal. Instead, I crashed right into humiliation—dumped and fired.
The silver lining? In a restaurant, there's plenty of wine to drown my feelings.
In strolls Tyler Nichols, the restaurant owner. He's charming, handsome and does a good job of trying to make me feel better. A really good job. Sharing my heartbreak with a beautiful stranger is the last thing that I expected.
Turns out, Tyler Nichols is my ex's best friend. And according to the local gossips—mainly my cousin—he's got a mysterious past.
No worries, I'm the gal with everything going for her—great job, fabulous apartment and a glamorous life half way across the country in sunny Los Angeles—far away from my hometown and my family's bourbon empire. I'll be leaving after the weekend wedding festivities.
That is until my best friend, Sage, finds herself in a jam and needs my help before jetting off on her honeymoon.
So, I'm staying in Mayfield a little longer than anticipated. In just a few short weeks, I'll march my happy ass back to the West Coast, far away from Tyler's smoldering gaze and his panty-melting smile. And the chemistry between us that burns hotter than a hickory stump.
But the longer I'm in town, the harder it is to stay away from him. And maybe I don't want to.

Another 5-star gem from Christy Pastore you won't want to miss
Beautiful March is a slow burn romance that is guaranteed to give you all the feels. Haven Cardwell is a big-time Public Relations rep in LA living her dream of escaping from her small hometown that only brought her pain and humiliation. When she returns home for the first time in years to attend a wedding she meets Tyler Nichols a prominent local businessman and restaurateur who has long been a mystery to the entire town. Their chemistry is instantly powerful, but both have a lot of pain in their pasts and they proceed with caution. When Haven's best friend asks her to stay and pet-sit for her for a month while she's on her honeymoon, Haven and Tyler take the opportunity to explore their feelings while at the same time realizing that there may be a time limit on their relationship. But all isn't perfect for the pair and Tyler has spent a long time burying the secrets of his past, but he may have finally found someone to share them with in Haven. But the problem with secrets is that they can't stay buried forever and the problem with small towns is that gossip spreads fast and drama abounds. Will Haven and Tyler's relationship survive gossip? Beautiful March had me captivated from the very first page and I couldn't put it down. It was one of those all-nighters and I didn't even regret the lack of sleep the next day. It was totally worth it.

Quite the journey
There is so much depth to this book. A depth you really don’t expect. Right from the prologue you’re wondering where this book is going to take you and let me tell you, it’s quite the journey.
I thought I was going to read the basic “girl gets dumped, has a fling with the handsome Hero” etc etc etc, story. What I got was, yes - a bit of the “girl gets dumped” but Haven and Tyler’s story isn’t a fling. There are facets to both of their characters, to them as a couple, that even they couldn’t have foreseen.
They bond over more than heartache and small town gossip. They share a sort of history that they can only really understand. Christy was able to take us on their journey as they find out each other’s truths and heal parts of their separate pasts.
Even with some heavier storylines in this book, I love that the angst wasn’t heavy or deep in this story.
