Beautiful is the 1st of a 5 part series that delves into the lives of 5 good friends. Beautiful takes you into the life of Tierra Rodriquez, who is an attractive young woman, focused and driven to keep her past in the past. When Qu, her best friend from home calls out of the blue, they begin to reconnect and suddenly her life begins to unravel. First, she inadvertently spills the beans about her past, client and ex-basketball player, Malcolm Turner, is determined to make Tierra his woman no matter the cost. Then, Qu is hit by a drunk driver and lay in a coma in critical condition. As her perfect life turn chaotic around Tierra begins to find solace in the one place she swore she would never return. Beautiful, is a story with so many twists and turns which will fill you with so many emotions. You will laugh, and cry with the characters portrayed throughout the book. They are all character's many of us can relate to. Beautiful is sure to be a read that will leave you guessing right up until the end.
