Loved it
Loved this book. Virna DePaul has become a favourite author of mine for great romance & great storyline. This story was laugh out loud funny in the beginning until I cried a few pages in learning the reason for why Rose was out in the rain trying to get donations for a charity close to her heart. Both Gio & Rose were strong willed & determined, both with an agenda. Their chemistry was still strong & combustible as it was when they were teenagers about to start the next chapter of their lives. Fifteen years have passed & the pain is still there for both, can one week change things. I loved the characters of Gio's grandmother Nana Ginger & her sister Alice, they were a hoot & none too subtle in their attempt to get Gio & Rose in bed together & married. This hot, funny, sad & sweet story is a definite recommend to read. I voluntarily reviewed this ARC received from the author for an honest review.
