Established writer and a fun read
Looking for something that is light for the beach or a cozy fire? This book is easy and well paced. It takes talent to write like this. I like to point these authors out when I find one. The author offers a free book at the beginning of each series so you can sample her style. They are all stand alone and HEA. I'm adding her to my author list to read in between the 'break your heart and toss it on the floor so it can be stomped on and leave a bloody mess' sagas that people seem to feel compelled to write! Ugh... this book is like an island in the South Pacific with a tiki hut bar serving rum and punch....
Unlikeable female lead
The female lead is full of insecurities and is not a good role model. Ruined the book for me.
