When FBI agent Mitch Goodman is forced to travel to Los Angeles and assist a local female detective with a homicide investigation, it's just another way to pass the time and possibly get laid.

Once there, he finds a mystery that he can't explain: a man has been splattered all over his bedroom wall in thousands of tiny pieces. No evidence of forced entry, or entry of any kind.

After other killings begin to occur in the are, what he comes to believe defies explanation, that he has stumbled upon the trail of a hitman who kills his victims using a supernatural ability without ever leaving the safety of his apartment.

As the investigation deepens, however, he will discover that the truth is much more sinister.
