Berand Fool

Three thousand years before the Last Elf of Lanis and the war against Deifol Hroth, the Prince of the elves begins a series of events that lead to the Elf Human Wars.

Berand Wendralorn is the finest oreauthor in Lanis, and although from the ruling caste, his name is stained because of the mysterious abandonment by his parents.

The Prince asks Berand to accompany his entourage as he seeks to reestablish his dominance over the huge human tribes spreading over Wealdland; the Wylfling and the Skylds.

Berand struggles with obeying the Prince as he uses his influence to cause division and political upheaval amongst the human leaders. The plague of discontent spread by the Prince to the human Lords and Kings can only lead to war.
