This book is based on the life of three best friends Veronica Martin, Lawrence Weldon and Chasity Simms that met in college. The book depicts the highs and lows of the three after they graduate from college to adulthood.

Veronica: Lives in the shadow of her big sister Valerie the successful super model and a very controlling mother Debra Martin. While on a family vacation she juggles being in love with her secret crush Warren Beasley and carrying the burden of hiding a family's secret that could destroy the family's legacy.

Lawrence/Chasity: Known as the ladies' man. Lawrence love women but doesn't know how to treat them. He's now stuck in a love triangle with Naomi and Chasity that mention she had something secretly to share with him. Could her secret be something that could rock the core of all their friendship?
