Absolutely amazing!
I’ve read almost every Abbi Glines book there is in existence. Some people I know say that romance books get predictable and repitive over time, but with Best I’ve ever Had, I almost flooded my basement I was so surprised. Never in a million years would I have expected Marcus’ son, Eli, to make the decisions he did. I was floored by this story and keep getting left speechless after an Abbi Glines book. I’ve been waiting for this book for a long time and it was absolutely worth the wait. Absolutely loved it! Will proceed to read it 20 000 times over like I do every other Abbi Glines book!
An Addictive and Steamy Read!
Abbi Glines is one of those writers that has the ability to pull you into her world and consume you until the very last page. I had been waiting for Best I've Ever Had, and let me tell you- it DELIVERED (the caps are totally necessary).
Right from the start, it was nice to be back to to Sea Breeze and all of it's familiar faces. Then we meet Eli and Ophelia- two people with wonderful hearts that have been damaged by their past experience. They are both such complex characters with so much darkness that Glines perfectly balances with moments of humor and some insanely steamy scenes. It's impossible not to feel for them, and when they're together, you want to read even faster because they seem to be such a perfect balance that you have to make sure they get the happy ending they deserve together.
Eli and Ophelia's story was full of tragedy, but that didn't stop them from pushing through and following their hearts. You'll be hooked on the raw and passionate romance, the witty dialogue, the dynamic characters, and the familiar beach town setting. In Sea Breeze, Alabama, true love still conquers all thanks to Abbi Glines.
