Beyond the Horizon

Synopsis

During the age when the transition from the horse and the buggy to the automobile took place, Brady Mayfield joined his friend, Jesse, in an adventure that would change the direction of his life forever. They faced an old enemy on the way to the horizon, camped at a lake thought to be haunted and spent nights in valleys frequented only by wild animals. There Brady faced a bank robber.

Bravely fulfilling his duty turning the robber in to the authorites Brady enters a town and fails his test of manhood. In the process he learns of the history of the valley beyond the horizon which some of the town's people had named Valley of Tears. By chance he meets Abigale, the town's mayor's beautiful daughter. The two young people fall in love at first sight and soon realize they were meant to be together for all time. But Abigale's father has other ideas for his beautiful daughter. In addition, some of Abigale's friends and a beautiful, older woman scheme to capture his love.
