Goodwin delivers yet again!
Maxus, an Atlan warlord, has survived horrible torture, dastardly experiments, and modifications that make him the deadliest killer in the galaxy. He’s hiding on Earth, pretending to be human, and hoping that his massive size doesn’t give him away. Like all males of his species, he is about to succumb the mating fever, a condition which will make him completely feral and necessitate his execution, unless he can find his one true mate. In the middle of a routine cage fight, he smells her. The One. His Salvation.
Vivian is a reluctant medic who patches up the fighters in an underground fight club. She’d rather be elsewhere, but the hard-working, single mom hasn’t raised two amazing daughters by being a fragile flower. When the gorgeous, and enormous in every way, fighter stage-named “Wolf” throws her over his shoulder and promises her pleasure and protection, even Vivian is shocked at her own eagerness to play Little Red to his Big Bad.
Fans of the Interstellar Brides Program series will be familiar with the formula. Maxus is the latest of a line of aliens masquerading as human (albeit uncommonly huge and muscled) who have only one fated mate whom they would kill or die for, forever. For. Ever. The mating is hot and hard.
If you are looking for next level, simplistic, alien erotic romance, Grace Goodwin delivers yet again.

The Big Bad Wolf Finds His Red
In this story, Atlan Maxus finds his forever in paramedic Vivian, now he just has to battle himself and Nexus Six to keep her. I loved the dynamic between Vivian and Maxus - their romance was caring and steamy, both instantaneous and deep. As always, there’s such a tantalizing tidbit at the end that just dangles - I need to know! I want more!
Atlas are the best!
Atlans are the BEST. Period and end of story. Maxus is no exception and his story is amazing. I loved that Vivian was able to trust him fairly quickly at least with her body and, of course, the mate bond is instantaneous for Maxus in an absolutely beautiful way. The story is captivating and has become one of my favourites in this world.
