This a a very dark and overwhelming romance. James Roth, is a force you don’t want to recon with especially when it comes to Jasmine Hennessy, heiress and ex-wife whom he refuses to let go. After their divorce, five years ago, neither saw each other until Jasmines’s ex-mother-in-law has a heart attack in her presence and she rushes her to the hospital. James is notified and everything changes for both of them from there on. His obsession with her takes over his psyche and possessive behaviour has Jasmine once again caged in turmoil. Twists and turns, deceiving and borderline psychotic behaviours and mostly overwhelming dangerous emotions are felt while reading this very captivating book and Mia Knight knows how to keep you glued to every page. She had me reading past my bedtime. This is book 1 of 3 a highly recommended reading.
