Black is White

George Barr McCutcheon (1866-1928) is probably best known for his early, Brewster's Millions, which has been produced multiple times for stage and screen. In Black is White, a man's jealousy of his wife ruins their marriage. She leaves and changes her name. Years later, they meet and marry again -- he doesn't recognize her and she hopes he's changed for the better.;
