The book is about an island girl name Emma ,and her two sisters had lived in the island with their grandparents. Until one day Emma mother who had left the island of Samoa to the United States, to be married leaving behind Emma and her two younger sisters.. years later Reuniting with their mother back in the United States, Emma and her two sisters discover they have a little brother name Jake.
