Blessed Joan of Arc

Long before feminism was even a concept, let alone a word, Joan of Arc was on a mission to stand up for what she believed in and what was right. She led the French army during the 100 Years' War and was burned at the stake for heresy at just 19 years old. She serves the world now as the patron saint of military personnel, prisoners, soldiers and people ridiculed for their piety.
