Blood Harvest

Her grandmother left her a farmhouse, an orchard, and a secret that could destroy two worlds.

When botanical illustrator Marion Vallion inherits her grandmother's Michigan farmhouse, she expects an old house, an overgrown orchard, and a few family mysteries.
Then she lights an antique lantern.
The flame awakens a power in her blood, opens the way to the hidden kingdom of Hallowmorn, and draws the attention of Jack Harrow, a three-hundred-year-old Lantern Guard who was sent to kill her.
Jack has his own reasons for questioning his orders. As Marion discovers her family's connection to an ancient magical crown, the two form a dangerous bond that neither fully understands.
Meanwhile, a ruthless enemy named Morrow is raising an army from corrupted pumpkins, and something far older is stirring beneath the roots.
With the boundaries between worlds weakening, Marion must learn to control the fire she inherited before Morrow claims the power hidden in her blood.
And when the harvest turns deadly, even Jack's centuries of experience may not be enough to save them.
Some inheritances are worth dying for. Others might bring the dead back.

Some inheritances are better left buried.
