The year is 2414. New Earth is rebuilding with 2/3 of the human population perishing since the Great Continental Divide (a seismic event that caused each continent to become an island). On one such island, New Eden (formerly North America), lives Simon Topaz.


Simon Topaz is a broken man. An addict of the new popular drug ‘IT’ and private detective by trade, he has been hired to find a missing 20th century relic: a murder weapon, stolen from a prominent art gallery in the City-State district of CS214. Simon doesn’t know that his case is just the beginning. The beginning of a maddening descent into the underground subculture of FleshArt and it’s players. It is also the beginning of Simon’s destiny, a secret he doesn’t even know he holds, a secret in his blood that may be the key to immortality and the salvation of the human race.
