With a sort-of marriage proposal from Jay and the final acceptance by her new vampire friends, Grace's life appears to be perfect. It's too bad she just can't seem to be happy enough to marry Jay and find peace within herself. Many attempts are made, many trips are gone on, and many more friends are added to the group before Grace finally figures out that this life is dfefinitely more than perfect. She may have lost her family, but as each life story is told by her friends, she discovers that a new family has been created.
