Goodness, no.
Way way too much scene exploration, far too much inner dialogue, terrible conversation based on not yet developed history. Geez , this is like reading through mud. I read a lot of material, this is not worth an afternoon. Sad I was convinced to purchase the series. I am owed a great bottle of wine, at least. Do not waste your time. Wow. No. For reference, I have choked through most of book two before writing this review. Yes, it gets worse. I keep thinking while reading “GET TO THE POINT!!!!!!!!” It never happens. Bonus hate for allowing the female lead to be manipulated endlessly. Lame.
