Publisher Description
How do you save your child from the darkness inside them—when it's already too late?
One rainy night, Jennifer Hanson comes home to a nightmare she can never unsee: her twelve-year-old son, Shane, is stabbing their family cat to death. For years, Jennifer has feared Shane’s coldness, the way he’s been since “that accident” that killed his father—a tragedy everyone calls a fluke. But now, it’s clear: something is broken inside him. Something is growing.
As her son shifts from troubled to terrifying, Jennifer is desperate to believe he can be saved. But when she discovers shocking photos of a dead girl on Shane’s phone—a girl the whole town thought died by misfortune—Jennifer must face what no mother wants to admit. How do you stop a child who was born evil?
WARNING: This is a pitch-black psychological thriller exploring the most unsettling corners of parental fear. If you prefer lighter suspense or steer clear of disturbing fiction, this one is not for you.

Not worth the read...
Totally unbelievable and a phoney story line. Bizarre and not worth reading til the end.
Born Evil
I have read hundreds of book in the last year and this is by far one of the best to date. It’s twisted completely intriguing, different from most books which usually have the same plot and storyline, and has you in suspense right to the end. The epilogue is what really brings closure to the whole story. Absolutely fabulous! Can’t wait to read another by this author!!!
Not my cup of tea
It’s taken me a really long time to get through this book. I couldn’t read more than a few pages before getting bored with the writing style. It started OK but after a while, I just wanted to get to the end. Done now. It’s over and no, I’m not reading the trilogy!
