Paul Butler is a widower, an ex-cop, and a self-confessed car nut. He's an ordinary guy with an out-of-the-ordinary job … he's chauffeur to multi-billionaire David Harrington.

Harrington's collection of cars is to Paul, the ultimate playground … and he gets paid. However, like almost every silver lining, there was a cloud attached. Within a month of working together, the two men had not only become good friends, but they had also come within a hair's breadth of losing their lives. Plus they had landed themselves in hot water with the FBI. As Harrington says to Paul, '… you see your home destroyed, you shoot the bad guys who are trying to kill you ... and then the FBI just won't let you alone afterwards.'

On a beautiful Los Angeles morning, an unmarked FBI vehicle picks up Paul and Harrington for one final interview. However, the drive to the FBI office proves unexpectedly harrowing – and then things really get weird. A strange request from the Special Agent in Charge thrusts Paul and Harrington, as well as an attractive Special Agent named Struthers, into a sordid environment created by a man who calls himself Boss.
