Broke, Not Broken

Ko is an island girl who dreams big and tends to follow her heart and her gut. This memoir follows the author's travels and travails in her turbulent late twenties after a broken engagement. Written in snippets and diary form, insights are made along small, domestic trips and big, international journeys. The struggling journalist takes leaps of faith and grows spiritually, emotionally and physically while managing relationships with money, men and herself.
