Bug Hunters in Space focuses on entomologists RJ Butler and Gwen Finn. RJ is a member of the Elf Marine Expeditionary Force in the League of Planetary Systems. 

Dealing with insects on various planets is quite a challenge. First, you have to figure out if they are sentient beings or not. The entomologists from the League's Lab 42, travel the planets gathering interesting specimen. Sometimes they decide to keep one for themselves.

Each book in this series features equal doses of humor, romance, and science fiction adventure. These stories focus more on the hunters than the bugs.
