 In a river kingdom shaped by Trinidadian folklore, a miraculous child is born, one destined to reveal the truth within every human soul.

Washerwoman, the beloved leader of the River People, carries a magical calabash that multiplies goodness a hundredfold. When the mysterious forest spirit Papa Bois embraces her beside the sacred river, she gives birth to Callaloo, a child of water and fire whose translucent body reflects the true nature of anyone who looks upon him. His presence brings harmony and unity to the people.

But peace attracts envy.

Mancrab, a ruthless force of greed, corruption, and destruction, cannot tolerate their unity. Through deception and temptation, he divides the River People, poisons the river, and spreads chaos throughout their world.

Guided by ancient spirits and protected by the fiery spirit of his mother, Callaloo must rise against darkness, not with power, but with truth. Yet the greatest battle is not against Mancrab, but against the greed growing within the hearts of the people themselves.
