A young woman's madcap post-college travel experiences, first working at a bizarre (and often hilarious) summer camp in southern Russia, then backpacking solo from Cairo to Istanbul on a shoestring budget, with particularly memorable experiences in Israel and Palestine (which led to the publication of her first full-length book, Fast Times in Palestine).
