Can't Get You Off My Mind
Publisher Description
The rule: Get married and have a baby.
When Grandpa Stinson dies, he expects nothing more than to keep his grandsons together, running the family's multibillion-dollar business. But he's got just one unfaltering rule: they have to get married and have a baby first. The brothers disagree...wholeheartedly.
But it's set in stone.
Follow the rule or you're one grandson out of luck...
Stubborn, rugged, but oh-so-sexy, Roark Stinson, the oldest brother, refuses to give in to his grandfather's manipulations. After all, women are the root of all evil, and he's never witnessed a relationship that actually works. Then it hits him; it doesn't have to work.
Roark just needs a warm body to agree to the terms...
Zoe Morgan never wanted to be anyone's "means to an end," especially not Roark Stinson's. But his proposal is one she's in no position to refuse--can't refuse. When the stakes are this high, a warm body might just be exactly what she needs.
Maybe--just maybe--Grandpa Stinson knew exactly what he was doing...

3.5 out of 5
Stuck between a rock and a hard place, Roark needs to find a wife - and fast - in order to keep his position with his company and fulfill his grandfather’s will requirements. Enter Zoe who has medical bills related to her own treatment, as well as her grandmother’s ongoing care. Working 4 jobs is no longer sustainable when Roark accidentally injures her. Enter Roark’s proposition to her. The only problem… the prenup stipulates that they will divorce in 10 years and she doesn’t want that for herself or the already growing baby in her womb. Then Grandma dies and the urgent need for money dies with her. What’s a girl to do? Honour a promise made in haste and give away her heart a sliver at a time knowing it will ruin her eventually? One thing it does do is make her cry. A lot. To the point that she cries whenever anything goes wrong. Even a little. The antithesis to the girl who refused to give up and worked 3-4 jobs for years at the start of the book. A bit annoying, a bit inconsistent and a bit melodramatic. I really liked the characters throughout the book, and the story until about 2/3 through, but it became a bit formulaic as it progressed to the end of the story. Nevertheless, I look forward to finding out how the other side characters fare in the next editions in the series.
Excellent
I loved all the characters and can’t wait to read the next books in the series!
Endless crying and immaturity
Zoe burst into tears on nearly every page. Halfway through the book I wondered why the guy wanted to marry her. She was too much of a martyr. Three billionaires and a housekeeper catering to her every wish but Zoe has nothing but complaints. Unbelievable.
