Captive: Desperate to Leave

Through no fault of her own Amanda is forced to move back to California. She thought that the nightmare she had gone through at Richland Academy was over.
However through his connections and powerful lawyers Marcus is able to convince the authorities to release him from prison and he becomes part of her life once again.
This time, however, is different. The influence, power, and ruthlessness that she had witnessed in school did not even compare to what Marcus was capable of now.
He was officially the head of one of the most notorious crime families in California. He along with his Mother, Stephanie Sheffield, were in complete control of anyone and everyone they chose. This particularly included Amanda and her parents.
There was no way of Amanda possibly knowing what the Lancasters and Sheffields had planned for their futures.
Amanda decides that things have to change and in pure desperation to leave her captivity Amanda comes up with a plan.
If her plan has any chance of succeeding it will have to be perfectly executed. However she has to ask herself - does she have the strength that it is going to take to carry out that plan and achieve her ultimate goal of freedom? If Marcus is gone will that then free her and her parents of his family or will they still find themselves being held captive and still looking for a way out?
