Not as good as the first book but worth a read.
I enjoyed the story. This book probably wasn’t edited as much as it could have been. The sentence structure in some cases could use some improvement. The very first near-kissing scene is a bit inconceivable... it seemed too premature.
In other areas, overuse of the same descriptive words tended to make them lose their impact.
I didnt like that Storm used the word bastard to describe the bear he was fighting and then used the same word to describe himself during a tender moment with Gabi a couple of chapters later.
Also in Canada, we call plasters bandaids. Even though Gabi is apparently British.... which is completely irrelevant. It’s brought up quite late in the story that she’s British, and then nothing is done with it... so why toss that in there at all? It doesn’t make her character any better.
Overall for a $3.99 book, it wasn’t bad. Its a quick read and the story is captivating.
