Carry Me On

Lori transforms her attitude, work ethic, and appearance with the help of her new friend, Bree. Lori exhibits strength as she works on a hiking trail creation. She makes new friendships and overcomes her sadness of Bree’s moving away. A significant tragedy occurs to Bree. Lori prays for, loves and honors her friend by improving grades, helping her family, and working in a cafe.


Lori and Gavin spend time together, a first romance for each of them. He goes away to college. Lori comes to realize she is a capable and confident young woman. She overcomes two more tragedies, deaths of fellow cross country runners.


Lori’s strong friendships support her as she starts her collegiate experience. She finds love.
