Cast Asides

Luke and Charlotte struggle to survive after fleeing the foster system. Their friends—nearing the end of high school—have their own struggles, interweaving within one another's stories. Attempts at normalcy, like heading to the skate park or making it to a party, often come with their own conflicts and complications. Relationships with friends and with family, born of love, persist through the struggles of broken people in a world that has cast them aside. The group of friends experience love and abuse, violence and generosity, as they strive to find peace and secure their futures amid the turmoil of their young lives.
