Brad Cameron, an MBA and CEO of his own executive management development business, has a holier-than-thou attitude towards all married men who stray from the straight and narrow. Ken Simmonds, Brad’s top consultant, has been with him since he started the business and the two of them, together with their wives, regularly enjoy dinner-dancing engagements together. The wives become best of friends.
When Brad discovers that Ken has set up a mistress in an apartment in town, he is incensed, and after warning Ken to stop his affair, dismisses him. Liz, Brad’s wife, becomes distraught about the resultant financial strain on her friend and insists that Brad help her financially.
What happens next sends Brad into a downward spiral where his life is no longer under his control, and he suffers his own personal hell. Can he redeem himself in a world in which he never believed he would ever find himself?
