Who knew sleeping with the enemy could be this fun?
Was the one night stand a good idea?
Well, no. Probably not in retrospect.
In my defense I had just moved back into my grandparent’s house, I’d lost my dream job, and a guy on Tinder had stood me up. It was like life had suddenly stamped ‘LOSER’ on my forehead.
So when the guy behind the bar started giving me THE look…you know, the one that promised I’d be screaming his name into the wee hours of the morning? When that guy also has the perfect amount of scruff on his chiseled chin, biceps bulging out of his t-shirt, and a cocky grin you knew he’d earned in the sack…when he gives you that look, you don’t bother to figure out what your six degrees of separation are. You jump on that horse and ride it!
Pun fully and completely intended. And accurate by the way.
I fully admit to feeling sorry for myself and acting impulsively, but by the time I’d figured out WHO the bartender was, I was already falling for him.

Cole & Whitney
Enjoyed their story and how much Cole wanted her from the moment he saw her. Some surprises when it came to revealing past history.

Whitney has moved back to San Fransico after losing her job. She heads to the bar and spends one night of fun with the bartender which she can not remember. Things become awkward when she finds out the bartender is her best friend's fiancés brother.
I found this book to be a complete hot mess. Whitney got on my nerves through most of the book with the way that she treated Cole and her constant worry about what her best friend would think instead of going with how she felt. I did not feel the connection between Cole and Whitney.
Stephanie Rose and Joe Arden did a great job narrating the book and were the reason I finished the book. The duet narration made the story easier for me to listen to since I am not a huge fan of a single character point of view books.
Great read
I enjoyed getting to know the 3 friends and am so happy they all get their own books. Whitney and Cole are a hot couple!
