About this series
Would you share your heartbreak, your hopes, your dreams by writing them down and sending them off in a bottle to be found by a stranger? Or if you found such a bottle, how would you react? This series takes us inside the lives of people who, in most cases, have suffered loss and are ready for a second chance. A light, slightly edge look at life and love in today's world of social media.
The first of these stories is Chasing Rainbows…
Taylor Lockwood learns the hard way that her beauty does not guarantee happiness. Betrayed in the worst possible way, her career crumbles overnight. Hiding away on her father's small ranch, she struggles to trust again, but a message in a bottle gives her second thoughts. Is the man who wrote the note too good to be true… and does she have the courage to find out?
Customer Reviews
A light, uncomplicated love story
I love how Mona Ingram inter-connects her characters and their stories. At first the writing seemed disjuncted - as if somehow one story had stopped and another stopped, but as their stories began to connect it all made sense and became pleasurable to read. The simplicity and candor of the dialogue and the character’s stories was refreshing and appealing if a tad contrived. But what else can we expect with a romantic HEA? There’s something to be said about the confidence to know yourself and risk your emotions by being honest. I also appreciated that this was an actual story and not just dialogue strung between love scenes. There is physical love, but it is left behind closed doors.
