Running means losing her freedom. But she can't stay.

Taz Robbins has been running her whole life, escaping from foster homes across the country in an attempt to find freedom. After an unexpected chance lands her in a small Iowa town instead of juvenile detention, she should be grateful.

 But her tendency to break rules and get into trouble jeopardizes her placement from the beginning. A complicated relationship with the boy next door, a new friend who introduces her to the night life of dirt bike racing, and a mysterious biker who shows up out of nowhere, draw Taz into a world of secrets and lies.

As the internal storm of guilt and mistrust grows, the only thing Taz wants to do is run. But there's no place to go, until her best friend and childhood protector sends out a desperate plea for help.

 If only helping him wouldn't forfeit her freedom-for good this time.
