Chikin and Scrub

Beneath the streets of London lies another world. In the wonderful children’s book Chikin and Scrub, two mice explore London’s underground and share their high-speed adventures.


A large community of mice inhabit London’s dark sewers. A young mouse named Scrub is curious. He wonders if there’s an outside world. His curiosity triggers a journey for him and his best friend, Chikin, who has some crazy plans of her own.


Scrub is a delightful little mouse who gets his name from his fanatical scrubbing of everything. A bit timid, he dislikes the darkness of the sewers, and wonders if there is more light outside. He also hopes to find what happened to his mother, who mysteriously vanished one day. Scrub relies greatly on Chikin, a daring little mouse who wants to become a chicken one day! Quite fearless, she doesn’t hesitate to escape when the opportunity arises.
