You know what? I’ve just finished reading your story on the very early morning of December 12, and all I can say is, what a lovely gift. What a lovely gift you created for us. You could have charged for your work, you could have played the make-them-pay-for-each-scrape-of-story game. But you didn’t. You wrote a very satisfying story of love with a castle and an over-protective queen, a starry eyed princess, her handsome man and their sweet love story, and two characters at odds with each other but stumble into love in a very relatable way.
Your characters were knowable, their dialogue unforced, the various plots funny, quirky and victorious. You made me feel quickly drawn in to the story, happy, sad, disappointed and tearful, (when Kat gave up, my heart went no!, my eyes teared up and I had to put your book down to get myself together...). And finally, my dear, you are a very lovely voice in my head.
Thank you again for this gift. I am going to sleep now (it’s almost 4 am) feeling very happily satisfied by your story.
