After spending all of her life working in the mines, Brook jumps at the chance to earn a one-way ticket to the colonies. All she has to do is provide some maps and plant some explosives to help the sky warriors rescue one of their operatives.
Easy enough, right?
But what should have been a simple mission spirals into a fight for her life when she discovers a stolen stash of nerve gas in the mine.
Engineering specialist Cipher long ago accepted that he would never have a mate. He refuses to participate in the Grabs, and instead, he dedicates his life to his work. He’s all but given up on the idea of love and a family of his own.
Until the night he meets the asset who can help them retrieve Terror.
The moment he meets Brook, Cipher knows he’ll never be able to leave her behind on the mountain. The petite, brilliant beauty ensnares him with one shy smile and awakens his protective instincts when she goes missing.
Brook is the one he has been waiting for his entire life—and he’ll risk everything to claim her as his mate
Claimed by Cipher had all the best elements of other books in the series. Brook was a strong, intelligent and brave woman and willing to risk herself to save others. Cipher was a perfect match for her; he was also strong, intelligent and brave but with a gentle and protective streak a mile wide! I am so glad that Ms. Lopez is back to writing and I look forward to more books in the series (fingers crossed for Terror’s story next;).
