Maureen Burdett's poetry is an eclectic mixture consisting of rhyming, free verse, political, inspirational, down to earth, humorous and satirical poems.They could be said to be "all sorts"  about the bush in Australia, other poets, country life, city life, places loved and remembered and people loved and remembered.  The poems have a timeless quality. They were written from the 1990s up to the present day and trace the nuances of the poet's life.
