It's been twenty-five years since Terry Bryant's little sister, Kennedy, disappeared at age four. He was  seven. They were playing with his friends in           Reservoir Park. The mystery was never solved becoming a long-term cold case.

 Under the wise, tutelage of Saul Heath, the famed Chief Officer of the Erie County Medical Examiners Office, his boss and honorary grandfather to his two children, Andy Fleisher embarks on a personal    mission to discover anything yet possible in the quarter century quandary. Something that might lessen or alleviate the deep wound that festered inside his close friend. Spurred on by the investigative impulses of his profession, he faces a monumental task, starting back at ground zero.
