Coming Home

Decorated Australian soldier, Mason Turner, risked his life in the battle zones of the Middle East only to return home an outcast in the country he fought to protect. He is abandoned by his family and denied access to his son. But when he is sacked from his job, Mason decides to fight back.
 
What begins as a simple trip through the Western suburbs of Sydney quickly escalates into a tour de force, that has Mason questioning just what kind of country he risked his life to protect. Mason is plagued by flashbacks of his time fighting in Afghanistan as suburban Sydney merges with the battlefields of the Middle East; innocent people become enemies and everyone is a potential threat.
 
While local police chief, Fitch Turner, has some demons of his own and wants only to track down his brother Mason before it is too late. And Craig King, an out of his depth Company CEO, responsible for firing a hundred people a week from Mason’s former company, wants out; if only it were that simple. As the lives of these three men collide in a way that will change them forever.

Coming Home explores the challenges faced by Australia’s returned soldiers and exposes the thin line between terror fighter and terrorist – for some, the difference is just a matter of perception.
