Byline: The Register-Guard Eugene Figure Skating Club members Delaney Andrist and Mikayla Hurwitz will compete in the Northwest Pacific Regional Figure Skating Championships that begin Oct. 14 in Jackson Hole, Wyo. It will be the second regional appearance for Hurwitz, a 13-year-old Churchill High School student who will compete in the intermediate division, and Andrist, a 12-year-old student at Roosevelt Middle School who will compete in the juvenile division. Top placers in the regional competition advance to the U.S. Junior Figure Skating Championships in December.
