What a beautiful love story! Graeme & Kerrigan are beautiful souls, a great match. Look fwd to reading the next books in this series. Wondering how it all ends for the King’s Guards.

I so love reading stories that take place during Robert the Bruce's reign as King of Scotland! Kara Griffin has done a wonderful job writing Graeme and Kerrigan's story, combining her imagination with true historical facts and adding a healthy dose of romance❤️
The story is exciting, full of adventure, danger, twists and turns, heartbreaks, as well as love and passion. I adore the humor between Graeme and his comrades and I also loved how dedicated they were to each other as well as to their king. Graeme has a lot of weight on his shoulders and the last thing he needs is to be falling in love but it's instant attraction when he and Kerrigan meet and theirs is a love that legends are made of. She is such a strong character and will do everything she can to protect and care for those she loves.
