Cooking with Dad

The smell of the ocean, garlic and sesame fill the air as things get drizzled, sizzled and crackling in the kitchen. A boy tells a story of his dad cooking lunch for him and his younger brother. Together they make a beloved dish, especially among children in Korean culture called kimbap. 

Featuring vibrant and modern illustrations, the story describes a real recipe, as dad and his boys bond over cooking. The food is depicted using a photo-illustration hybrid technique that’s sure to work up the reader’s appetite.
