Is it anything like the ten Plagues of Egypt? Well, fairly close. 2020 was a year like no other in history both modern and "ancient" (that includes the much referenced 1918 Spanish flu pandemic). A cauldron of circumstances combined to make the kickoff year to a new decade one of the nadirs of the twenty-first century (which is really saying something, considering how many there have been thus far). Yet 2020 did not merely "end" on December 31st, but will persist for the foreseeable future with its ripple effect aftermath.
