Romeo and Juliet meets vampires and werewolves and a plot to take over the world
Kane
I’m so glad I’m reading this as the omnibus edition and can start reading the next as soon as I finish the last, because that cliff at the end is both abrupt and steep. I wanted to say that this story is a little like Underworld crossed with Romeo and Juliet, but Underworld itself was already a little Romeo and Juliet to begin with. I have an idea who the real villain is and now I can’t wait to read more to find out if I’m right.
Voss
Once again, watch out for the cliff-hanger ending, because even though I knew it was coming, where it stops is a bit of a shock. As hard as it is for our heroine and heroes to face, it looks like my hunch was right about the identity of the villain. But now that that’s out of the way, I’m more desperate than ever to discover what’s going to happen next.
Quin
Quin has been devoted to his alpha princess since the moment he first set eyes on her – mere hours after she was born. Now that Jillian’s accepted all of her mates, will they be able to bring peace between the vampire and lycan races. This one didn’t end with quite as abrupt a stop, but it does definitely keep you hanging on for the conclusion. And makes me more grateful than ever to be reading the omnibus and be able to start reading the final book right away
Jillian
They’re a united force now, and one, finally, with the backing of their respective councils. But even together, will they be strong enough to defeat the might arrayed against them? This was a fantastic way to end the series. It’s filled with action and intrigue. It also opens a fascinating new complication for future books.
