Cowboy, it’s Christmas
Talk about love and family, this book has it covered! Once again this author has added a new book to this series that will keep you in the warm and fuzzies. Can’t get enough….definitely a must read! 👍❤️📖🏅
Wade and Daisy!
When an injury ends Wade’s career as a professional bull rider, he finds himself back in his hometown and back on his family’s ranch as he tries to make it viable once again. The last thing he needs is to be distracted by participating in a reality show so Daisy’s solution that they pretend to be a couple seems like the perfect solution.
Daisy has had feelings for Wade for years and she was hurt when he left town so abruptly. Now that he is back, she wants him to see her as a woman and not as her brother’s best friend so pretending to be a couple will allow her to show him that they belong together.
Daisy has always known that she wanted Wade in her life but seeing Wade step up and be there when she needed someone the most is both heartwarming and romantic.
A fight for love
Daisy has had her heart set on Wade since she was a teenager. He is seven years older, her brother’s best friend and until recently, constantly on the rodeo circuit. Not to mention that her over protective brothers have scared off any perspective beaus. Now an injury means retirement from the rodeo circuit for Wade and trying to resurrect the family ranch that has fallen into disrepair. The older ladies of the community are determined to use Wade to attract more women to their town so they can marry off the over abundance of single men. Of course Daisy doesn’t want any other woman near the man who has claimed her heart. She suggests a fake relationship to Wade in order to keep the matchmakers and the other would be mates at bay. Wade agrees to her suggestion, but their fake relationship soon begins to feel all too real for them both. They are fiercely attracted to each other, but her brothers, new uncertainties and doubts as well as a family secret create some obstacles to a real relationship. Will they reveal their feelings to each other? Are they willing to fight for their love and each other?
I loved the strong, realistic characters in this book, flaws, quirks and all. Wade and Daisy’s story is engaging and entertaining. I can’t wait to read more about the characters in Stone Ridge. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
