When a pirate ship falls on hard times, Jack is let go because he is not good at plundering. Eleven-year old Lucy, the daughter of the widow he boards with, offers to show him around the port town to find work. It soon becomes clear what Jack’s new career should be. A painfully shy young man, lives with his grandmother on lonely Breakfast Island. His grandmother, a former detective inspector, is called out of retirement to help capture her arch-nemesis, Grudge Gallows, world famous pirate. This leaves Saracen alone, but not for long when he ends up having an exciting and hilarious adventure of his own.
