Ihsan held xir breath as the lander slowly touched down on their asteroid. A decade and a half of work and they finally had the start of their generation ship.

Hollow the asteroid out, add air and soil, then slap on some solar panels and presto you had a space station. Or strap on engines and you were free to travel the universe.
